ARM9 keeps its cool
The NetBSD ToasterA toaster running NetBSD on a 200MHz embedded ARM9 board has delighted crowds at the LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco.

An adage long associated with NetBSD is that the venerable, open source Unix OS will run on anything from data centre class machines to your kitchen toaster. This particular toaster from Technologic Systems includes ethernet and USB, can play MP3s, serve web pages and toast bread.

You would think that pentiums would toast the bread much fast than an ARM9. I donīt want to know how long you have to wait with this device.
