Author takes over support, sales

CD Burn iconCD Burn author Steffen Huber has taken over sales and support of the aforementioned CD authoring software, which was previously distributed by Warm Silence Software. Steffen has also founded hubersn Software to "give a new home to CD Burn".

"hubersn Software is pleased to announce that they have today agreed with Warm Silence Software to take over future CDBurn sales as well as support for all CDBurn customers. As from today, all enquiries regarding CDBurn should be directed to hubersn Software," Steffen explained in an announcement today.

The ever popular CD Burn software has been in development for more than six years, since its launch at Acorn World 1997. The software is Iyonix compatible and also allows for multitasking CD writing.

This is good news. CD Burn is a very nice piece of software, and I look forward to its future development. The best of luck to Steffen!

Oh, there's an intriguing reference to Steffen's software in the Wakefield exhibitor's list:

I must check out the latest version of CDBurn. Multisessioning always seemed to be tricky with it and the simplest option seemed to be to throw away the previous disc and burn again. Nightmare swapping data over the internal IDE though :) -- Spriteman
