Another Sibelius fan
Media watch Peter Jennings has stepped down as editor of Eureka, the magazine published quarterly by The ARM Club for its members, as Andrew Wyver succeeds him to become editor.
"The hand over has gone very smoothly with Peter being very helpful," Andrew told drobe.co.uk earlier today. "In a moment of madness I volunteered."
Andrew also edits a magazine for the Association of Woodwind Teachers, describes himself as a "peripatetic music teacher" and uses Sibelius 7 on a RiscPC and Sibelius 3.1 on a WindowsXP PC to do music typsetting and publishing.
"I also own a laptop, which gets lugged around the schools I teach in and runs WindowsXP and VirtualRiscPC-SE. I have been using Acorn machines for about 10 years and PCs for about 5 years," he added, also pointing out that magazine production will be done in Impression and OvationPro on a trusty StrongARM RiscPC.
Eureka last hit the headlines in May 2003, when it exclusively published the first review of the Microdigital Omega.
