Topmodel's New Publishers: And the winner is..By Chris Williams. Published: 19th Nov 18:29:18 | Permalink | Printable
A while ago Drobe reported on Sincronia's search for a company to publish their 3D object/scene editor 'Topmodel'. Announced over the weekend, the Italian programmers have now found a company willing to distribute Topmodel, this publisher being none other than Cerilica. Cerilica are currently developing a powerful new professional level graphics package called Vantage, screen shots of Vantage can be found here.
Cerilica have promised to revamp the Topmodel manual, customer support and design materials. Sincronia have also insisted they will keep up their side of the deal by initially tweaking Topmodel before launching into a full refresh of the application.
Drobe has seen what can only be described as a sneak preview of what RISC OS users can expect from Blue Lightning, the hopeful successor to TopModel. Hopefully we can negotiate an early public release..

Get RISC OS running on Puppy Linux with RPCEmu
As demonstrated at the South West 2009 show, Paul Stewart has managed to produce not only a guide to getting RPCEmu up and running on Puppy Linux - a light-weight and user-friendly flavour of Linux - he's also produced a live CD so anyone interested in trying out RISC OS can boot straight into Linux and test drive the OS.
