Net file transfer just got that bit easier with FTPc 1.30 By Chris Williams. Published: 20th Nov 21:17:44 | Permalink | Printable Colin Granville today released an updated version of his internet application FTPc. FTPc is a freeware internet File Transfer Protocol Client. It enables you to transfer files/directories to and from your webspace from the desktop using the standard RISC OS drag and drop. Now at the dizzying height of version 1.30, you can now expect...
* Global Choices dialogue box added
* Add to user menu... added to main menu.
* Passive can be set globally and switched off on a per site basis.
* Site selection dialogue box entry can now be set globally as well as in the user menu.
* Site on upload dialogue box entry can now be set globally as well as in the user menu.
* FTPc can drag text/url file to iconbar or connect window.
* Ant url launcher fixed
* Fixed drag failing after application drag
* & replaced by ' on downloading and vice versa.
This probably means a lot more to you if you have used FTPc previously however we can say FTPc is one of the most widely used FTP applications for RISC OS- if your current one keeps crashing or is too awkward too use then we can only recommend FTPc..
