RiScript 5 release imminentBy Chris Williams. Published: 21st Mar 2005, 13:08:18 | Permalink | Printable
No peeking thoughVersion 5 of the PDF creation package, RiScript, is nearing completion and will be 32bit compatible, we've learnt today. Developed by Roeland van den Bos and Jeroen Medema, it's understood that the application will be distributed online, with support given via the Internet.
The fate of RiScript has been a mysterious one, especially after Roeland and Jeroen ended their contract with Cerilica, the software's original publisher, in June last year. Jeroen confirmed earlier, "The software is more or less the way we want it to be for release. We are currently working on the user manual, the website and some other details."
The new website is due to launch in a fortnight's time, which will announce further details and a confirmed release date. As well as Iyonix compatibility, the new version will also feature path clipping and other enhancements.
