Wakefield 2006 advance tickets on saleBy Chris Williams. Published: 9th Apr 2006, 19:54:57 | Permalink | Printable
Travel leaflet also available
Punters hoping to attend this year's Wakefield show can now book their tickets in advance. Orders can be placed online using a credit card, or via snail mail with a cheque or postal order. There's a small discount for buying in advance, and young children get in for free.
Event organiser Chris Hughes said: "Our supplies of tickets will be arriving after being slightly delayed on Tuesday, so any orders received so far will be serviced as soon as possible thereafter. Our apologies for the delay."
The show is set to take place on Saturday May 13 at the usual location of the Thornes Park Stadium. The last batch of advance tickets will be posted on May 6.
The Wakefield team have created a website banner and an advert in PDF format for people to use to help promote the show. The artwork was designed on RISC OS by Richard Hallas.
Chris added: "The more that people know about the event, the better for everyone. There is also a link for downloading an A5 version of the colour advert that will hopefully appear in Qercus shortly. Exhibitors and others can use this to help promote the show round their customers."
A travel guide, again in PDF format, is also available for download, which details the various ways to reach the event in Yorkshire. Advance ticket holders will be sent a printed copy in the post.
