Guildford is go, unofficial reports sayThis year's South East RISC OS show will take place on Saturday October 21, according to sources. Although the date has not been officially announced, the event's organisers are approaching volunteers to act as stewards. The news also confirms that there will be a show in Guildford this year.
In the past, the South East shows have seen the launch of the Iyonix, Geminus graphics acceleration, AGP accelerated draw files, and other announcements.
One attentive news mole reported: "Guildford is October 21, or so an organiser told me. He was trying to get me to be a helper."
The venue will be as usual the Guildford College, hosted by the SASAUG user group. They were unavailable for immediate comment, although their website said they are awaiting confirmation of a date from the college.
