Wakefield 2001: Charity stall announcement

By Chris Williams. Published: 19th Feb 10:41:21 | Permalink | Printable

In an addition to the travel information for the Wakefield 2001 show, Drobe is pleased to inform you of details of the show's Charity stall. Wakefield 2001 is to be held at the Thornes Park Athletics Stadium, Wakefield, on the 19th and 20th of May. What follows is publicity officer, Mike Wilson's statement:

One of the major attractions at the show will be the ever popular Bring & Buy Charity Stand which will provide an excellent opportunity to clear your shelves of unwanted items of computer hardware, software and accessories. Show visitors will be able to browse through the donated items and pick up some surprising bargains.

While donations brought along to the show will be very welcome, it would be even more helpful if items could be posted, or delivered, in advance. Wakefield Hospice, who will be the principal beneficiary have kindly volunteered to receive and store items for the stand until showtime.

These should go to:-

Wakefield Hospice (Fund Raising) Ltd
Hemingway House
Thornes Moor Business Park
Thornes Moor Road
Wakefield
WF2 8PG

Please mark donations:-
For the attention of Terry Rigg - Wakefield 2001 Show

Goods can be received between 8:30am and 3:30pm on Weekdays.

Mike Wilson Publicity Officer, WACG

All the popular features of previous Wakefield shows will be repeated, including a show theatre with a full programme on both days.
