ROOL mouse mat design revealedPublished: 1st May 2007, 23:06:18 | Permalink | Printable
How many logos do you recognise? Here is the new 'map of the RISC OS community' mouse mat created by RISC OS Open to raise cash for their shared source project. The design was drawn up using logos of companies and organisations that have stumped up notes and sponsored ROOL. The final image was sent to the printers earlier today.
The mats are expected to be sold at this month's Wakefield show. Money raised will be spent on covering ROOL's running costs.
ROOL's Steve Revill said: "I'm sure you'll recognise most of the names on there.
"We've been working on the shared source project for twelve months, and almost all of the money that has gone into administration has come from our own pockets thus far, never mind the many man months' of effort.
"It may not seem to the outside that anything is happening, but it's been hard work none the less."
