Full report due after the showThis year's Wakefield show is all set for this Saturday in its new venue just outside of the Yorkshire town.
The list of exhibitors is: Joel’s 8-Bit Emporium, The ARM Club, Charity Stall, Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club, JGH BBC Software, Stuart Tyrrell Developments, Serious Statistical Software, Advantage Six Ltd, R-Comp, NetSurf, R-Comp Interactive, Soft Rock Software, MW Software, Virtual Acorn / 3QD, Icon Technology, RISCOS Ltd, RISC OS Now, A.P.D.L., Orpheus Internet Services, The RISC OS Packaging Project, RISC OS Open Ltd, CJE Micro’s, Iyonix Ltd / Castle Technology, Archive Magazine and Qercus.
The event is open from 10.30am to 5pm on Saturday, May 19.

GCC 4.1.1 port first release available
A port of the open source C/C++ compiler package GCC 4.1.1 is now available for download. This build produces executables in a format found on Unix-like OSes, paving the way for support for shared libraries and the possibility of using powerful debugging tools from other platforms.
