It's all over before it'd begun!: Omicron pull out after bankruptcyBy Chris Williams. Published: 1st Apr 14:05:16 | Permalink | Printable
In an email leaked to drobe.co.uk, it appears our premature announcement of the Omicron Ocelot has cost them their primary financial backer. The email, addressed to the Omicron management from a leading investment bank, explains that the project is now critical unstable and non-viable due to imminent market hype. This is truely disappointing as it is doubtful we will ever see a Ocelot, despite it's amazing specifications and promises. There are rumors a rescue bid is waiting in the wings, however don't hold your breath.
Based on the Isle of Man, Omicron Solutions are expecting to wrap up development on Monday and seek a new financial backer to pay for the manufacturing of the initial batches of Ocelot. The Anti-bankruptcy Protection Regulators of the Isle of Man have been contacted by drobe.co.uk and they insist they will do all they can to freeze Omicron's work until the management sort out their difficulties. Omicron have been sent a Finalised Official Order of Leasing to allow this.
So, we do apologise to Omicron and hope they get back on track sooner than later, provided they respect the Anti-bankruptcy Protection Regulators of the IsLe of Man's Finalised Official Order of Leasing, or APRIL FOOL for short.
The Omicron news site details the whole tragic affair.
