Get an Archimedes pin badge for Xmas - for 25 quid

Published: 10th Dec 2008, 00:38:24 | Permalink | Printable

It's mind-boggling what you can find on online auction house eBay - and in this instance, we've stumbled across this classy pin badge with the Acorn Archimedes logo on it. A snip at just 25 quid the last time we looked. Do you have any old Acorn memorabilia that could be flogged on eBay? Let everyone know in the comments below so we can compare our Acorn World plastic bags and such materials.

I've got some junk, I mean, really great stuff that I'll put up sometime.

You too can be "seriously bad!" with the A3020 themed Acorn T Shirt. Who said that Acorn never understood the youth market?

I've also got to get rid of my old, slightly damged Acorn mags and show bumf at some point. Coming to an ebay r@re!!! auction near you soon.

Cor, I've got one of these. It's in a little bag on my bookshelf with a RiscPC one. Now I look closer, it actually says RISC PC next to the logo - that might make it worth even more, given how important the difference seems to be ;-)

Jeff Doggett has ported a library to create a RISC OS module that can access USB-based FAT32 storage devices greater than 2GB in size, such as memory sticks and Flash cards. Jeff said: "This is just a filing system module - there is no desktop front-end or anything user friendly. It's version 0.01 which should give you some idea that you should try it first on a test drive before letting it loose on anything valuable."
