Hip hip hooray, Select is here today Published: 18th Oct 2001, 02:21:37 | Permalink | PrintableCompleted and available online: RISC OS 4.24
RISC OS Select, the next release of RISC OS, is available now online for subscribers.
Finally, it's arrived, the start of the Select scheme is ready to be delivered to subscribers' doormats. Drobe.co.uk can report that a lot of time and effort has been poured into the first release of Select by the Select developers and we're very pleased to see it go public.
Update
Due to the massive demand on the ricos.com servers, a new server is being setup for later this month and will be dedicated to RISC OS Select usage. An application to resume fetching partially downloaded files is also expected to be released shortly to Select subscribers.
To be continued..
