CVS and Desk releases (Updated) LimpX library too

Two interesting developments this week which should interest anyone into programming for RISC OS.

Desk
Billed as a library for use from C/C++ programs, it's "designed to aid the development of fully-fledged Wimp applications". Initially developed by Julian Smith, the library has been recently worked on by Mike Curtis and Paul Johnson. This week sees the release of version 3.12 and can be found at desk.iconbar.com. Although documentation is lacking, the source is available for download and you're invited to contribute code, documentation and tutorials to the library.

CVS or concurrent version system
John Tygat is pleased to announce the release of version 1.11 of the RISC OS port of CVS. CVS is a popular tool employed by programmers to manage versions of source code and similar work, stored both locally and remotely on CVS servers. See www.cvs.riscos.org.uk for more information.

LimpX
We found out today that Jeffrey Lee's released his C WIMP library, LimpX. It looks very interesting and ideal for a BASIC programmer familiar with the WIMP who's looking to write desktop applications in C.
