VOTI no moreBy Chris Williams. Published: 17th May 2002, 18:07:30 | Permalink | Printable
Yawn.Visions of The Impossible, the RISC OS games development group that brought us the genius that was Super Foul Egg amongst other things, is now officially closed. Please, no tears.
You'll be pleased to know that VOTI's lead programmer Owain has got himself a job at a software company and drobe.co.uk wishes him the very best.
This is not the first time that Nathan Atkinson, VOTI project manager, has made a fuss about his team's views on the RISC OS community. Maybe now he can finally shut up. Enjoy your Lake District.

Partis Computing takes over DigiFlash range
Partis Computing has reveal it has taken over further development of Surftec's DigiFlash products, which it originally created for Surftec in 2001 and 2002. Existing users have been invited to apply to receive the latest driver updates. Gary Partis, of Partis Computing, said: "We are best placed for continued development of these products." Users can plug Flash memory cards into their RISC OS computers via the parallel printer port using a DigiFlash interface device. Surftec withdrew from the platform in 2003.
