Your guide to the RISC OS browser debate By Chris Williams. Published: 15th Aug 2002, 00:07:44 | Permalink | PrintableTime to invoke Peter Naulls [Exclusive] [Updated] Why is it when people get into a fuss over something, they leave all common sense and fact at the door? Could it be that a good rant should be free of truth and other impurities or could it be due to the fact that people need a good introduction on the subject at heart? If you're a RISC OS Select subscriber or if you subject yourself to the RISC OS newsgroups then you'll have witnessed recently the raging online debate over the possibility of future web browsers for RISC OS. Even if the flames have passed you by, the fact remains that RISC OS could do with an updated web browser or perhaps a totally new one.
Of course, this drobe.co.uk editor isn't qualified to discuss such issues however we know a man who is. Peter Naulls, experienced in the development of web browsers, has decided to document his thoughts on the subject for you to read so as to clear up any confusions. There's also news of future web browser ports under his Unix Porting project. Go read, please.
Update
Also something that you might find amusing, screenshots of possible future ports?
