Argonet flooded (but not with users) By Chris Williams. Published: 22nd Sep 11:05:07 | Permalink | Printable As reported by the Icon Bar this morning, Argonet's servers were hit yesterday evening by flooding at their Chichester offices.
The Icon Bar, Acorn Arcade and RISC OS Ltd's websites were all taken down by the water but have since been restarted and are presently running from generators in the car park!
The report says that customers of Argonet have not lost any of their mail as it is stored on computers hosted in London.
Readers may be happy to know that Drobe Launch Pad's dedicated servers are still bone dry and ticking along nicely in our secure Manchester office.
