CJE Micros really want us to know about their waresBy Chris Williams. Published: 29th Mar 2003, 03:15:51 | Permalink | Printable
Buy One get Two free on ArtworksMegadealer CJE Micros stuffed no less than six emails in our inbox on Friday afternoon announcing all sorts of deals they've got going for RISC OS users at the moment and whilst we prefer not to republish mere price lists, there are one or two interesting new releases worth shouting about.
First is news that CJE are still selling the Castle 32 bit C/C++ compiler kit at its 100 quid launch price but we've already mentioned that, naturally. Next, if you order either Artworks 1 or Artworks Masterworks from CJE, they'll throw in a free upgrade to Artworks 2 when the highly awaited version is finished by MW Software, which should be during May 2003. This is a most encouraging move as we see a company, and a big distributor at that, other than the developers MW Software gearing up for an Artworks 2 release.
Finally, the "classic" (read old) games arm of CJE, otherwise known as the acquired The Fourth Dimension, has changed their contact phone number to 01903 523222. Note the 4thD website still refers to their old number, confusingly.
Update [09:28 29/3/2003]
Andrew at CJE has pointed out in an email this morning that he's updated the 4thD website with the new phone number. Jolly well done.
