Easter Round Up - Don't put your chocolate bunnies in the sun By Peter Naulls. Published: 21st Apr 2003, 15:45:23 | Permalink | PrintableGaming, Compilers and Emulators [Updated 20:30 21/4/2003] We've done a write up about the development of the game Convey, recently mentioned on Drobe, along with other aspects of RISC OS games development. Read all about it in our feature:
- RISC OS Gaming in Focus.
In other news, a developmental version of GCC 3.3 for RISC OS is now available in GCCSDK CVS. Although a 3.3 version of GCC has been available for some time (ever since the last formal release of GCC, version 2.95.4), recent developments have brought in 32-bit support to GCC and UnixLib from my informal 32-bit GCC version. If you're not on the mailing list, you can read about it in the mailing list archives.
Although the next release of GCC for RISC OS is likely to be some months away, you're welcome to test and contribute.
And just in case you'd thought we'd overdone it with news about Acorn emulators, Ralph Corderoy has setup a mailing list for ArcEm, the open source Archimedes emulator. The list is intended for developers, or other parties interested in ArcEm's internals, and to facilitate co-ordinating efforts. To join the list, visit this page.
