Artworks 2 soaks up users' ideasBy Chris Williams. Published: 22nd Apr 2003, 23:52:04 | Permalink | Printable
Hand over the bug reports, feature suggestionsMW Software have this month opened the floor to requests for possible new features to Artworks 2, the much awaited vector graphics app expecting a May release in time for the Wakefield show. In a post to the Artworks mailing list, developer Martin Wuerthner stated Artworks 2 has entered the beta testing phase and MW Software are after annoying bugs that need squashing and straight forward yet useful feature suggestions.
"This is not about the big new feature requests that I know about like graduated transparency, clipping, bitmap fills, shadows, SVG import, multi-lines, PDF export, etc." states Martin. "This is about all the small changes that make the program more pleasant to use that I can do easily while working on the complete application anyway."
The response from users is already 12 pages long and the mailing list is open for anyone to join and contribute to the discussion. The Artworks 2 progress page claims that all of Artworks 1.7 has been 32 bit'ed.
