OSNews picks up Select 3

By Peter Naulls. Published: 26th Apr 2003, 13:37:02 | Permalink | Printable

No autographs, please

Drobe has been referenced again on the OS-agnostic news site, OSnews, in this article on Select 3 features. drobe.co.uk's own Select 3 article can be read in this article written back in March.

OSNews have picked up RISCOS Ltd.'s public publication of the Select 3 release highlights. We're told the developers are saving the best features till last, which will be revealed when the new OS version is released. RISCOS Ltd. are hoping to have Select 3 at the Wakefield show, this May.

Speaking of turning up to shows with a product (or not in RiscStation's case), RiscStation's spindoctor claims to have left RISC OS, in something less than a whimper, let alone a bang. What RiscStation's next move is remains to be seen. As has been mentioned previously, they won't be exhibiting at Wakefield.

When you used to write for it, I'm sure. Maybe you can keep the insults to yourself.

>Yeah, it's only had 30+ news items this month.

I think he meant NEWS, not continous semi-sarcastic reports whenever someone farts loud enough.

Ah, the price of fame in Britain is people attacking you. Drobe is AFAICT the top news site on the Acorn scene these days, and Chris is working really hard at it (along with g0tai and Peter), and I think hats off to them.
