ProAction pumps life into AudioWorks By Chris Williams. Published: 20th Sep 2003, 18:55:33 | Permalink | PrintableComputer Concepts' audio editing software re-released As part of their on going crusade to rescue legacy software, APDL/ProAction have this week taken over AudioWorks from its previous owner, Computer Concepts. AudioWorks is described by ProAction as a "complete suite of sound editing functions in one easy to use, low cost, application" and supports Amiga IFF, Armadeus, DataVox, Microsoft Wave, Creative Voice file, Acorn Replay Movies, Digital Symphony, EMR Sound Synth and other audio file types. It can also sample from suitable sound cards and includes a utility to attach sounds to desktop events.
For AudioWorks users, we recommend this sound for your desktop startup.
Ovation 1.50 SE, an 'entry level' DTP package, is also now available on CD in 26/32bit neutral form with the usual bundle of tutorials, fonts and clipart.
