However, after installing computer networks -for 'many years'- with anti-surge devices, they felt it would be appropiate to publish on their website details on protecting your computer from unfavourable electrical conditions.
Surges, or voltage spikes, can cause substantial damage to a computer and anti-surge devices are employed to prevent this sort of thing occurring.
expLAN pointed out that the anit-surge website area is due to expand, so bookmarking it is recommended.
