expLAN provide online anti-surge help: With all the recent storms an'all..

By Chris Williams. Published: 1st Nov 09:55:40 | Permalink | Printable

expLAN Computers are well known for their software and long-term presence in the RISC OS world.
However, after installing computer networks -for 'many years'- with anti-surge devices, they felt it would be appropiate to publish on their website details on protecting your computer from unfavourable electrical conditions.
Surges, or voltage spikes, can cause substantial damage to a computer and anti-surge devices are employed to prevent this sort of thing occurring.
expLAN pointed out that the anit-surge website area is due to expand, so bookmarking it is recommended.
