MyRISCOS re-organisation details leakedBy Chris Williams. Published: 17th Dec 2003, 04:21:14 | Permalink | Printable
SensationalTonight, Jeremy Coates of 'rival' site MyRISCOS is speaking at the RONWUG usergroup. The topic of Jeremy's speech will be an update to the group on the "re-organisation" of the RISC OS portal.
A MyRISCOS spokesperson told us that details of this re-organisation will be released after the meeting, also asking us to "guess where?!?" the news will be published. The spokesperson also explained that the PHPnuke powered website will experience "evolution rather than revolution". Now, three things that evolve spring to mind: Creatures, RISCOS Ltd. and Pokemon. We'll be interested to see where MyRISCOS fits in there.
As MyRISCOS are keeping tight lipped on how their site is changing, we had to dig deep and blitz our contacts with warm mince pies and festive cookies. Eventually one insider cracked and sent in an exclusive screenshot of what the new website will possibly look like, which gives a good impression of what may be MyRISCOS' fresh new editorial focus.
