New MIDI synthesizer reaches beta releaseBy Chris Williams. Published: 8th Nov 09:34:05 | Permalink | Printable
Henrik Pedersen has written a modest range of RISC OS software, including HTTP server 'WebJames' and a C interpreter 'microC'. Now he has added a MIDI synthesizer to his website, oddly titled 'HBP10GM'.
The MIDI synthesizer will play MIDI data from an existing sequencer (eg. MidiWorks) or a MIDI-file player (eg. Monolith). To use the synthesizer with either of these (or with MelIDI), you'll need MIDI L4 and MIDISupport, but the synthesizer can also be used on its own - a program is included which will play MIDI-files without requiring MIDI L4 and MIDISupport.
As stated above, the synthesizer is in beta but it worth a look (as well as all the other goodies on his website)
Previous: Vantage release approaching and fast..
Next: Fantastic Iron Dignity game video available
