Well this is officially my first show *ever*. Always wanted to go to the various Acorn World shows amongst others but never really had the opportunity as a school kid!

Needless to say the date is well and truly marked in my diary.

BTW, I'm travelling from Swansea so anyone living on route who's in need of a lift just let me know...

I don't wish to be too critical, but the SW show must be the most badly organized RISC OS show.

I note with interest that I am not listed in their list of exhibitors despite my several attempts at registering my interest in attending. The SW show web-site contains almost no information and the event has been VERY badly promoted. With just over a month to go, the signs are not very encouraging.

I admit it's been badly organised, but John's been quite busy recently. Another point is that the link to the show should point to [link] I'll add the details to my WAUG site as soon as I get round to asking John the full details.

Lest anyone be put off, I should say that the SW Show is always enjoyable.

I've been along for the last 4 or 5 years and it has always been a fun and useful event. A bit smaller and a bit quieter than the other shows but that's an advantage if you're going along to chat and browse; all the 'big' names are normally present.

The venue is pleasant (though the drive to it goes down some pretty but unlikely-seeming country roads. In previous years, it has been well posted and, on the day, well organised.

See you there? ;-)

Yes, I'll be there if the organisers find time to give me some information on how to exhibit.

The website is rather out of date - and I can confirm that Aemulor/Cino will also have a stand there.

Hopefully John will update the site something before the actual show!!
