Why so quiet?By Chris Williams. Published: 12th Feb 2004, 13:07:34 | Permalink | Printable
When all through the house, not a writer was stirring. Not even a mouseEditorial Ok, so things have been a little quiet recently. It pains us to see an un-updated drobe.co.uk frontpage purely because ordinarily we devote a lot of time to the site.
Last year, we set ourselves the target of posting an article a day and by the end of the year, we had more or less managed to achieve that. That's not a brag, incidentally - that's a pure, welcoming indication of how much enthusiasm is still left in a market as small as the RISC OS world.
This year we wanted to do two articles a day, however we should have forseen things like 3rd year university projects, contract work, demanding responsibilities to other publications and other things that lead to the site being left neglected this month. Woe.
One might think that our stagnant front page was a direct representation of the market by somehow illustrating that very little is actually happening. This isn't the case. For instance, a good pile of software releases and updates has built up recently as well as other tit bits that we'll cook together into a round up article this week.
If you've found some news or, even better, done something news-worthy, just let us know.
