After serving at least 2.8 million pages over almost 360 days, the drobe.co.uk servers are taking an unexpected but well earned break for about a day. Drobe is currently hosted by the Prowl network which unfortunately suffered a critical server failure earlier today.
Drobe webmaster Ian Hawkins has said he will be powering down washu.prowl.org and sasami.prowl.org for essential maintenance and upgrades at 9pm tonight. Everything should hopefully be restored by sometime tomorrow. Sasami, which serves Drobe's webpages and runs Suse Linux, will also be treated to a fresh Debian install.
We hope to be back with you shortly, thank you for reading Drobe.
