From 18th March to 29th March, users will be unable to unlock their purchased copies of VirtualAcorn's emulation software. Every copy of VirtualRiscPC must be activated by a unique unlock code, which is issued by VA to deter piracy. Many RISC OS dealers flog Windows PC kit that includes VirtualRiscPC.
In an announcement this evening, VA's Aaron Timbrell said: "We urge all customers who have recently purchased a VirtualAcorn product to unlock it on or before the 18th. We apologise to any customers who are inconvenienced by this temporary closure."
The company is set to move offices on 21st March to the new address of 29 Alma Road, Newhall, Derbyshire, DE11 0SD. A new telephone number is to be phased in shortly.
