CJE Micros, publisher of graphics package Photodesk, has announced that Niklaus Weiss is to be the software's new maintainer. Niklaus is otherwise known for his work on DeskDebug, a multitasking programming tool, which will be launched at this weekend's Wakefield show.
"Niklaus only has a very limited amount of free time to devote to Photodesk so his work will be limited to bug fixing and minor changes. He will need to familiarise himself with the code before starting on any changes, so no date is being given for updates," said Chris Evans, of CJE.
Bug reports and feature requests should be aimed at the Photodesk mailing list. CJE took over Photodesk in June 2004, after David Ruck converted the software to be 32bit compatible.
