Warming the cockles of the hearts of Acorn tracker fans, the famous - or infamous depending on your opinion - Powercarols have been converted to MP3 format this Christmas. Now retro-music addicts can hum along and play the air keyboard to these 1994 era digital tunes on their iPods during their daily commute to work, or just belt them out on a hifi to irritate the surrounding neighbourhood.
Written by James Coates over a decade ago and brought to MP3 format by Alex Macfarlane-Smith, the two tracks feature remixed festive songs and carols with typical tracker panache, a style otherwise known as 'cheese' or 'pre-1999 dance'.
Alex said, "All the cool people listen to tracker music, as opposed to actual real songs."
