As forecasted earlier this year, ArtWorks 2.7 has been released in time for the Wakefield 2007 show this weekend. The headline features include multi-page support for documents and multi-page PDF export. Master layers can be applied to every page, or on odd and even pages, to create a consistent design.
Generated PDF files can be compressed, spot colours and overprinting information are exported, the colour bar palette can be reordered, colours can be sampled from the screen, text selected can be exported, plus various user interface tweaks.
A new ArtWorks viewer app and rendering module are available to support multi-page documents, and a previously commercial viewer app that supports transparencies is now online for free download.
