
!Draw, the vector graphics application included in every copy of RISC OS, is great at lines, shapes and colours but not so hot on text. Plain text files dragged onto drawings appear as the same font, size and format unless you take the trouble of writing in the format codes to let Draw know what to do with your text. Text files with these additional layout tags are known as Text Areas and are for beginners a tad tricky to get the hang of, especially of you are used to fancy effect menus offered by the likes of OvationPro.
