Peter Naulls has announced the availability of a "plug-in-and-go" set up for the Iyonix Linux port. As part of the service, you'll receive an 80 GB hard disc which contains a pre-configured Debian system partitioned in a way that meets your requirements. It also includes a large range of installed software including the Gnome and KDE environments, browsers and other productivity office suited software.
In addition, a new version of the Iyonix Linux 2.4.21 kernel is available online. The new kernel supports "most of the Iyonix hardware" and also now the real time clock and sound.
