Finally, Microdigital have developed a competitive RISC OS machine. Gone are the days of the A7000. PCI is here.
Using the StrongARM 110 and the Intel XScale 600Mhz processors, Microdigital promise great things to come. 4 PCI slots, 20Gb Harddisc, 56k internal modem and RISC OS 4.03 all standard.
Video is at 2048x1536 in 16 million colours with 3D acceleration. Now I am impressed..

ARM processors to power cute netbooks
As so many of you have pointed out, a number of little notebook computers, which are all the rage these days, are to be powered by ARM chips, paving the way for a possible RISC OS port to such slimline devices (especially given the recent Ubuntu Linux on ARM announcement) - however there are countless ARM Linux-powered systems available already and yet there's no sign of any RISC OS port for them either...
