If done well, this could be a very important first step in educating large numbers of teachers to the "state" of the market. I teach in Cambridge, and have teacher friends all over the UK, many of whom have just started. Many bemoan the fact that their classrooms are full of "useless" Acorns. In many cases, the hardware is fine (RiscPCs) but the schools have bought no software!
