What is needed is advertising. The whole of the IT curriculum can be taught with RISC OS machines. It is much easier to argue that the curriculum cannot be taght with Windows machines.
Sales are down because there is a view that the government supports MicroSoft. In a veru real way this is true.
It is normal for schools to compare 10 year old RISC OS machines with brand new PCs and buy accordingly.
In one school a sales demonstration for PCs was suruptitiously arranged for heads of department whilst a RISC OS supplier was told to sling their hook when they asked permission to demonstrate.
It's certain that PCs aren't there because they were found to be best in a fair comparison.
