The hardware itself is (probably) fine... but it does need some software to implement the USB API on top of it. Without this software the interface is of no use.

The best course of action would be to ask Microdigital if they are going to do this. It may be uneconomic, but then again if enough people want it....

Be aware that this is not a trival task as the USB hardware in the Mico may be different to that in the Omega. -- Steve Knutson
