WROCC is certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. They have a large number of members (31 of which were there when I went to my first meeting last week) so you won't have difficulties solving problems or obtaining advice. They seem to attract interesting speakers and, of course, they organise the very successful Wakefield RISC OS show each year.
