I agree - non-blocking IO would be exceptionally handy, but would involve a major re-work of Filecore, which as I stated earlier, is a job for those who wear teflon underpants. OK, I didn't state that, but you get my gist :). DMA would be the very least. There are lots of other problems within ADFS - I don't know which of those Pace have solved and which they haven't.
