Reply to thread I have to agree with Q. I have Typestudio 1 in both its Beebug original and in "Beta" ProAction update form. On a RiscPC, the former is not terribly stable and the latter is abysmal. I presume ProAction have abandoned the the update because, even after paying for the Beta and nagging them, I never received any further updates. My advice, as they say in the consumer magazines: 'Avoid'. The early versions of FontFx that I've used (years ago) were much better. The reason I bought Typestudio was its WSIWYG interface - FontFX was always a dialogue box full of settings and then hit OK to see what you got.
