BBC Basic should be looked upon as a super scripting language. It links in very easily to all modules with the SYS call and if it doesn't have or do something then you can always write your own routine in assembler. Thus an application written in BBC Basic with SYS calls and assembler is limited not by the language but by the imagination of the programmer.
