Who's going to port Mono, then? I think it has an ARM JIT already. (Has GTK2 been reliably ported? If so, it might be a fine tool for writing cross-platform GUI apps - perhaps even write some classes to abstract further such that under RISC OS it uses the iconbar and menus in a consistant way, but on other platforms it works as normal...)
