There were no RiscPCs dumped at Wakefield. Even old RiscPC 600s routinely fetch around 30 on ebay. What I saw going in the skip at Wakefield were lots of AKF 60 monitors, a few A4000s and a lot of very old software. Stuff that really did have no value. There is a chap who lives a mile from me who's got 80 14 inch monitors in his front garden. I guess show organisers are worried that folks will bring that sort of rubbish along and, under the new legislation, have to pay to dispose of it afterwards.
