There's probably a demo version of Oregano bundled with it. The OS upgrades are actually downloaded by the upgrade watcher; the browser is just the mechanism for launching URLs of stuff the upgrade watcher doesn't know about; a demo version should do just fine, as of course, would NetSurf (Firefox presently lacks external URL launching) - clearly people buying this know what software they need to make it do what they want.
