The trouble is that embedding into other documents will be a less attractive proposition if you cannot be confident that others will be able to view the result correctly.

I can see why you have chosen to distribute it this way, but a model that placed the costs solely on the originator would be preferable - even (IMO) to the originator.

(You would have to change the file format slightly to make this work - or rather, to ensure that documents produced using the existing method did not work - but it could be done.)
