There has been an interesting discussion about how to put equations on the web at uk.comp.sys.mac under 'Rendering maths equations on the web'. Certainly LaTeX seems to get the vote here
On a personnal level I'm not sure I would use LaTeX, as I find pdf output sufficient for my needs. (And one thing that the article doesn't mention is that pdfs produced by TW also keep the structure, which is a first for Risc OS).
There are other things I would rather see put in place first, and I think that is the major problem with TW - there is only one of Martin Wuerthner and only so much time in the day!
