Why would PMT and virtual memomory be an advantage on an STB? PMT's advantage is it stops dodgy software hogging the CPU. The STB would only run its own software. The use of paged memory slows down a system compared to having enough memory, what would an STB be doing that requires more RAM that would be cheap to fit? (And would it have a hard drive anyway?)
